You will never know what you miss until it hits you.
Ii’s driving I am talking about and I do miss the actions of turning on the ignition, adjusting rear window, checking myself in the mirror and the whole shebang.
Taking the MRT is, no doubt offers convenience (with the opening of Circle line) and taking taxis in Singapore is a breeze, but driving a car, you being in the driver’s seat offers “freedom”.
Freedom to go anywhere your heart so desire and you can dictate when to start the ignition. Then again, it’s a hate and love relationship when driving a car. You have to content with being caught in nasty crawl or have to deal with idiotic drivers who think they own the roads (in Kuala Lumpur, anyway)
I guess, in life you win some and you lose a tiny bit.
