Most of my Housekeeping staff are from outstation. Some from Kelantan and Terengganu and the rest from Perak, namely Taiping and Kuala Kangsar districts.
Whenever they are back from their “kampung” , the Housekeeping department will invite me to savour kampung delicacies.
I do not know whether you have tasted “biskut lutut” or not but I had it many many years ago.
It’s basically sliced bread, toasted until it’s very dry and crumbly. It’s shape resemble human knee, hence it’s infamous name “biskut lutut”. Best served with local “kopi”.
