Ganache and durian

Recently Carment brought home mooncakes which cost RM20 per cake. Why it is so costly?

Its chocolate ganache with durian pulp. Pure durian pulp! That’s why. Even Celeste cant get enough of it. Haha

Durian and chocolate? Definitely a “made in heavan” combination.

During my college days on the Isle of Man, I did came across weird but yummy food combinations.

One of them is rock melon with parma ham..Weird but it sure works.

Another one is what we call, “devils on horse back”! Basically, its bacon wrapped around pitted prunes and serve on toasted bread. Honestly, its truly yummy..
